Product Warranty and Return Policy


All standard Top Down Products (TDP) are warranted for ONE year to the original purchaser from the date of delivery for defects with regard to workmanship, proper functionality (both electronically or mechanically) and finish. Damage caused by improper installations, mounting or adjustments, normal riding conditions (such as, but not limited to, acts of God, road debris, improper storage, vandalism, or vehicle accident) are not covered under this warranty. Warranties are not transferable.


100% Refund within 30 days day of delivery on any product returned prior to any assembly or installation. All returns must be handled through TDP RMA Policy (Return Merchandise Authorization). RMA policy requires the customer to contact TDP for RMA approval and RMA#. TDP is not responsible for any shipping or costs associated with the return if not handled through the RMA process. Any damage beyond that stated by the RMA process may require the customer to photograph and email findings to TDP prior to receiving an RMA #.  Any merchandise returned without an RMA # will result in a $30.00 restocking fee and the customer will be responsible for all shipping fees. Approved returns with an RMA# will receive a return reference or a return shipping label and cover all return shipping fees. All returned products must be returned securely in the original packaging materials in the same manner as received. Failure to comply with this policy, or further damage to parts beyond the RMA report could result in product replacement which may include additional fees of refinishing, reassemble, and restocking charges. Please note, this does NOT include custom orders as they are handled separately.


All custom orders are considered to be unique in idea and design. Once TDP agrees to create your custom order, the finished product will depend on the actual item and specifications. It is crucial that TDP is provided with proper measuring and accurate dimensions. All custom orders may require an upfront $100 deposit. Once a prototype is created and approved by the customer, an additional non-refundable deposit to reach 50% of the total cost will be required. Please note there may need to be several prototypes per order based on the customer and TDP’s input. Once the final prototype is approved, the remaining balance will be due. There will be no cancelations or refunds once the final prototype is approved. There are no returns on final processing custom orders. All custom orders will be photographed and archived prior to packaging and shipping. TDP reserves the right to market your custom design for future business and in any/all marketing materials.
